The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, asked the Minister of Environment
to discharge Mrs.Diana Bejko, since she had not paid the electricity
bill for her second house in Velipoja.

Sources within the Prime Minister’s office say that the debt was modest, but this didn’t stop Rama from asking her to be immediately removed from the government.

A special team has been established at the Prime Minister’s Office for making detailed verifications of the electricity bills for all government employees.

Diana Bejko was appointed as Deputy Minister after joining with the Socialist Party through the civil society in Shkoder.
