Prof.Dr.Perikli Qirjazi, invited on Top Channel’s “Evening News Review”,
answered to a series of questions regarding floods in the past days.
Qirjazi explained with details how humans have directly impacted the recent floods.
He added that the biggest danger for these areas is not Vjosa or Seman, but the sea. Qirjazi says that villages such as Darzeza and Novosela might disappear if the sea level rises with 95 centimeters.
To avoid catastrophic consequences, he declared that authorities must draft a long-term strategy for moving the population of these areas.
