50 kg of heroin seized from Albanian truck in Turkey, five arrested

An Albanian truck has been caught by the Turkish authorities with 50 kg
of heroin. The news was given by the news agency, Milliyet. It says that
the drug was found on a car that was transporting hydro-sanitary
materials.
The destination of this drug was Albania, and then it would be trafficked to EU countries.
The heroin was seized in the “Halkali” customs, Istanbul, thanks to anti-drug dogs.
The Turkish media have immediately published the news, which was followed by a internet leak of a video showing the Turkish agents seizing the drug.
The 50 kilograms were divided in 98 packages and it was hidden everywhere in the truck, even inside water heaters.
The Prosecution has arrested five persons who were suspected as traffickers.
