The IMF declared that the world economy perspective is unequal. The
recent IMF report on the global economy situation and expectancies
showed that the economic growth is getting better in rich countries, but
it is getting worse in developing economies.

Led by the US and the UK, the developed economies will grow this year with 2.4%, from 1.8% of one year ago. The developing economies will have it slower, from 4.6% to 4.3%, due to the slowdown of the Chinese economy and other problems in Russia and Latin America.

The IMF has not changed the evaluations and expectancies of the Albanian economy. The report says that the GDP grew with 2.1% in the past year. For this year the economic growth is expected to accelerate with 3%.

According to the IMF, the recovery of the Albanian economy will continue gradually. For 2016 the IMF foresees the Albanian economy to grow with 4%, while in the long-term they value that the growth will get stabilized at 4.5%, lower than the levels before the crisis.
