Threat messages to Minister of Interior

The Minister of Interior has received a threat message, which has forced
the Tirana Police officers to start surprise inspections at the
businesses and homes of the Gjuta family.
The Ministry of Interior says that the message said: “If you go after the Gjuta family, you are going to pay”. Right after the message, the police started inspections at the assets of this family.
The case was referred to the Prosecution of Serious Crimes. Vladimir Gjuta is suspected as the author of the message. He was in Tirana when the threat was made. He is on the run for ordering the explosion at the pharmacy of the Inter Minister’s father.
The Police and the Prosecution did not give many details about the case, due to secrecy.
Sources from the police say that after the threat, the Interior Minister has increased the security measures.
