Rama: “Today, a day of mourning. Shame to those who blame police”

The Albanian Prime Ministe, Edi Rama, visited the two Special Agents who were wounded during the firefight in Lazarat.

“Today is a day of mourning for the entire police, the employees, and every Albanian family that values honesty, courage and the service of these boys”, Rama declared.

By expressing his condolences to the relatives, the Prime Minister condemned the declarations that blamed the State Police.

“After expressing my condolences to the family of who did not survive to this cruelty, and by reiterating the certainty of doctors for the two others, who are out of life threatening danger, I want to underline that I feel sorry for those who blame the police while they are still battling a group of killers”, Rama declared.

The former Chief of Police, Hysni Burgaj, visited the wounded agents at the Trauma Hospital and declared: “I condemn the murder of a RENEA agent and I wish a quick recovery to the others. I wish the murderers are brought to justice as soon as possible. I have no other comment”, Burgaj declared.
