The Court of Appeal has found Arben Frroku guilty for the murder of
Chief of Police Dritan Lamaj, and has sentenced him to life in prison.
The Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes changed the verdict of the Court of First Instance, which had found Frroku not guilty.
The second verdict forces Frroku to return in prison, but he has already left Albania.
Police say they had stopped him at the border and let him cross because there was nothing forcing him to stay in Albania.
This verdict will release an international arrest order for Frroku.
