Basha meets ODIHR Chief: “We share same concerns about elections”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, met with the Chief of the
ODIHR Mission, Audrey Glover, to whom he expressed his concerns for a
violation of the election standards by the majority.
Basha declared that Glover has been with documented violations, which, according to him, come from the purchase of votes and the threats made to the public administration.
“The meeting with Mrs.Glover was very productive. We spoke about the violations of the electoral process. The DP is drafting a detailed report of how the electoral standards were destroyed opn the Election Day, by actions that had started since the campaign. ODIHR shares the same concerns with us as regards the vote purchase, the usage of criminal gangs, the falsification of ID cards and pressure on public administration”, Basha declared.
The leader of the biggest opposition party added that this violation of the standards in the June 21st elections has been documented and the opposition will soon start a battle for undoing the entire manipulation system.
