The judiciary reform is necessary to improve the situation in our country and to make the law equal for everyone.

The German Ambassador to Tirana, Helmut Hoffman, declared from Durres that since July 2013, no judge or prosecutor has ever been sentenced. The business community is unhappy and ready to withdraw investments. According to Hoffoman, this concern has been mentioned during the recent meeting of Chancellor Angela Merkel with Prime Minister Rama.

The Chairman of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Florian Rauning, underlined the importance of consultations that guarantee the success of the reform. He also underlined the efficiency of the system.

“An active management of the cases guarantees the participation of all parties in every session, and reduces the corruption cases. Audio registrations increase transparency and guarantee an objective process verbal, complete, by making parties trust the efficiency of the data. These are the basics of the judiciary system in this century”, Rauning declared.

He said that Albania needs an action plan, and offred the OSCE support to the Parliament, basing it on the best international experiences.
