TAP starts first construction phase, injects 60 million EUR

The first construction works for the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline have
started in Corovoda. The first phase will bring 60 million EUR which
will improve the infrastructure of the area with the repairing of 42
bridges and building three new ones, and by also creating jobs.
The Manager of TAP, Ian Bradshow, says that the inclusion of Albanian companies as sub-contractors has started with the second phase of the works, with 95% of the staff being Albanian and the number of employed people reaching 500.
