US Ambassador: Shocking cases at Albanian judiciary

The US Ambassador to Tirana visited Durres and spoke about the judiciary system, saying it has had shocking cases:
“There are shocking cases in the judiciary system. Everyone has faced corruption cases”, Lu declared.
He said that three judges have been sentenced in the past years for corruption, but not a single Prosecutor.
“More public involvement is needed for consulting the judiciary reform”, the Ambassador suggested.
