The EU ambassador to Tirana, Romana Vlahutin, declared that the
judiciary corruption is among the most critical in our society, and same
as laughing to citizens.

“There have been many words about corrupted judges, but few have been Prosecuted criminally. I don’t like assumptions. Being a judge means having one of the most decent jobs in the society. This reform must defend everyone who is conducting their duties with honesty and integrity”, Vlahutin declared.

The ambassador declared that the judiciary reform should make prosecutors do their job and investigate judiciary workers and their corruptive affairs, regardless of who they are.

She said that the analytic report of the experts, it is clear that constitutional amends are needed.

“I am happy that the opposition members are part of this special parliamentary commission, because the judiciary reform in Albania should stay above any other interest, may that be private or political”, Vlahutin declared.
