Schulz: Independent institutions, key to a just future

The President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, held a speech
at the Albanian Parliament. The recommendation of Mr.Schulz for the
Albanian political class, same as in the meetings with the political
leaders, was that of the judiciary reform.
He valued the positive results achieved so far by the Albanian government and encouraged them to continue, promising that the European Parliament supports anyone who follows the values of democracy and justice, and that reconciliation is the key of security in Western Balkan.
As for the stability in the region, the European Parliament president valued the efforts of our country for reconciliation with the neighbors, referring to the visits of Rama and Vucic in Belgrade and Tirana.
Schulz made a short retrospective to the progress of the continent since the Second World War and valued the humanism shown by the Albanian people.
