Veliaj takes oath as Mayor: Together we will change Tirana”

The councilors of the right wing abandoned the room, saying that the presence of the Minister of Local Government, Bledi Cuci, was illegal.

Veliaj said he and his team will work to meet the expectancies of the citizens. He was optimist even for the opposition, and told them that his door will always be open to debate.

The Mayor valued the government and Minister Cuci for the territorial reform, which, according to Veliaj, will give a new development to the capital and other cities.

He promised that his administration will offer equal services for citizens, without distinction between those living in downtown or in the suburbs.
