Schools and kindergartens suffer severe hygiene problems

A few days before the new school year begins, Health State Inspectorate raised the alarm for the hygiene in education institutions. After inspectin 637 schools, 174 kindergartens, 185 nurseries and all universities, they found out a lot of issues which are a serious obstacle to the education system.

“We found that sanitary conditions are very problematic, the right environment for lessons to take place is missing and especially there is no clean water in school buildings”, Eltar Deda, cheaf inspector of the agency said.

The government and Ministry of Education have been informed, he added, as well as the 61 new mayors of the country, but denied any measure to close those institutions were made till now. Nevertheless he is optimistic that institutions will be ready before September 15th, where the new season begins.
