The Parliament discussed today about the debate between CEZ and DIA, two
conflicted companies that have mentioned the name of Parliament Speaker
Ilir Meta.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared that the media have discovered another corruptive act, which shows that the company of contractor Kastriot Ismailaj has bribed Meta when he was Foreign Minister.
Berisha added that Meta must explain what reasons took him to Prague, to negotiate for Ismailaj. According to Berisha, the Parliament Speaker should resign for this.
The Chairman of the Commission of Economy, Erjon Brace, said that these thefts were made by Berisha when he was Prime Minister and by his Minister of Finances, Ridvan Bode.
