The OSCE will not leave Albania. The news that it would leave circulated
in the media after the report which mentioned the implication of
Albanian politicians in suspicious affairs.
For this served an e-mail of the Foreign Ministry which asked the other ministries of the country to reduce the projects with the OSCE.
Sources for Top Channel said this is not related to any measure of the Albanian government against the organization, but the e-mail simply asks the Albanian institutions to rank the projects with the OSCE based on their priorities.
This is a routine procedure before any meeting of the member countries of this organization in Vienna, where they also approve the projects and the budget. This request has been made every year to the Albanian institutions.
