If businesses will declare their unbilled goods by December 31st, they
will not be penalized, according to the Minister of Finances, Shkelqim
Cani, referring to the new law of tax procedures. The Minister says that
half of businesses have not been inspected yet.
Tax Office and Customs employees will have two new rules that will be criminally prosecuted, one for deforming the financial data and should not own customs agencies or countability firms.
As for the current results of the anti-informality operation, Cani says that from August 1st to September 24th there have been 19.000 new businesses registered. 60.000 new employees have been ergistered during the first 25 days of September.
