The Vice Chief Representative of the OSCE to Tirana, Robert Wilton,
declared at the graduation ceremony of the Magistrate School that the
judiciary reform will evaluate judges and those who fail might even go
to prison.

“The judiciary reform is taking shape in details. There will be an evaluation for judges. Those who fail will lose career and reputation. Some will go to prison. Don’t worry if the judiciary reform is not complete by the end of the year. It is important to do the job with quality, not in a haste. A successful judiciary reform is not more ore less than the stability of this country in the future”, Wilton declared.

He encouraged students to take only the right side against corruption, since it will be more rewarding in the long term. “Success in a fair judiciary is earned through talent, not by what you can pay”, he stated.

Present in the ceremony were Xhezair Zaganjori, President of the Supreme Court and Council Chairman of the Magistrate School; Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla; Justice Minister, Nasip Naco; UK Ambassador, Nicholas Cannon, and the EU ambassador, Romana Vlahutin.
