The National Agency of Environment measured the pollution of the Tirana
lakes, showing very high levels, especially in Kashar where urban wastes
have been thrown for the past years.
The Tirana Lake is also polluted, due to solid waste materials thrown in it.
The Agency recommended the local government and respective institutions to intervene and improve the situation.
