James Hamilton, former Prosecutor General of Ireland for 11 years, was
one of the six rapporteurs at the Commission of Venice, who met with the
ones involved in the justice reform.

Before leaving Tirana, Hamilton said for Top Channel that Albania has a very ambitious project that treats the justice corruption problem.

“We must prepare reports and present them at the Commission of Venice on everything that we have heard, so that they can approve the final report”.

The rapporteur of the Venice Commission says that “The justice reform is a very ambitious project that is only related to important constitutional amends for creating a process. This is part of a justice reform that includes a huge number of organic projects. We should see this as part of a real and important legal package. The evaluation will not be an easy task”.
