US Ambassador: “Code of ethics useless if officers don’t understand it”

The US Ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu, greeted the Code of Ethics for
the State Police and said that the Albanian justice had its challenges
with the fight against crime. The drafting of this code, he said, will
help with this battle.
“Police officers are the example of an entire generation of children. This is a strong code of behaviors. It would be useless if police officers don’t understand and discuss it”, Lu said.
The Interior Minister underlined that more good will is needed from the police officers to make the Cod of Ethics a document that stands to time.
