Minister Bushati meets NATO Secretary: “Strengthening defense capacity”

The Nato General Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg, met with the Foreign Minister of Albania, Ditmir Bushati.
“The government is taking measures to reinforce the defense capacities, by stopping lower budgets and securing a significant growth for 2016”, Minister Bushati said.
Bushati underlined the importance of continuing the open-door policy for Western Balkan and the need to make a substantial and institutionalized interaction of NATO with Kosovo.
Stoltenberg valued the role of Albania in reinforcing the stability and safety in Western Balkan, and contribution in the NATO operations.
Bushati and Stoltenberg mentioned the importance of reinforcing the alliance and deepening the cooperation of NATO with other international organizations, in their path to the Warsaw Summit.
